In an emergency, call 999 or go to A&E if you have severe symptoms like difficulty breathing, severe chest pain, or confusion. You can also visit a Walk-in Centre for assessment and treatment of conditions like chest infections.
When to seek help
Contact a health professional if you have a cough for 3 weeks or more, are coughing up blood, or have chest pain that occurs when breathing or coughing.
